While the PS3 and Vita versions of Capcom’s upcoming Street X Tekken crossover fighter will each be getting their own exclusive guest characters, but it seems like the Xbox 360 won’t be enjoying any special cameos of it’s own.
It was announced awhile ago that the PS3 and Vita versions of the game would receive Cole (from inFamous,) as well as Toro and Kuro (Sony mascots who’ve appeared in a series of Japan-exclusive adventure games,) and a recent trailer hinted that both Pac-Man and Mega Man would be joining SFxT’s roster.
In an interview with Xbox 360 Achievements, Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono explained that Capcom was in talks with Microsoft about adding Xbox exclusive characters to the roster, but the two companies couldn’t come to an agreement in time. Guess Xbox fans will have to wait until Capcom’s next fighter before they’ll see the likes of The Cole Train or Alan Wake in a fighting game.
Street Fighter X Tekken will launch on Xbox 360, PS3, PC and PS Vita on March 6th.
