Square Enix has released a new trailer for the upcoming final chapter in the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy. Besides showing off more of the series’ (incredibly convoluted) story, the trailer shows off Lightning’s more feminine side, as she switches between a number of frilly costumes.

As everyone pretty much guessed, Square Enix is a making a third entry into the Final Fantasy XIII “saga.” The newest episode is entitled “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII” and the story picks up directly where FFXIII-2 ended.
