Bungie has a great track record for ensuring quality control with their products, and this has more recently been shown by both Halo: Reach and Halo 3 having open public beta’s. According to recent updates on Bungie.net this trend of open testing is not going away any time soon, as long as you have registered as a member on Bungie.net you could end up being one of the few hundred thousand gamers to test future products.
This is a great opportunity for many and also comes as a bit of a surprise. Considering their untitled project has virtually no details, it pretty interesting to see talk of testing already. The only info that has surfaced on the future of Bungie’s game is that they are looking to provide a world for the gamers that is always active and not just a linear experience that is played through as a traditional campaign.
After partnering with Activision and entering the same family with the likes of Blizzard, I can only imagine what is being cooked up behind the walls of Bungie Studio’s. Potentially the open world never ending experience of an MMO, mixed with the polished combat of the Halo franchise sounds like a pretty deadly mix. So make sure you take the opportunity to register on Bungie.net and follow the home page instructions to ensure you have a chance at testing the future.
On a side note the Noble map pack is also around the corner for all you Halo: Reach players, so if you have been distracted by Black Ops like alot have, now would be the time to brush up on your DMR skills! Keep in mind this years E3 could be the start to Bungies world domination, this is the last of 7 steps that they have been working towards for years.
