Verizon is adding yet another Droid into their family, and this one will be the most powerful yet. The Motorola Droid Bionic, one of the most powerful phones in the market, will be coming to Verizon retailers near you soon.
With the nVidia Tegra 2, this means that the phone will have a 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM, acting like your own personal computer that will fit right into your pocket. It will be on the Android 2.2 platform, but will be compatible with the 2.3 platform upgrade. With flash capabilities, web browsing just got a little easier for those individuals who can’t live without their flash websites.
720p videos can be streamed from the phone through a micro HDMI cable, as the port is built in right into the phone. It is also going to be a part of Verizon’s 4G LTE network, making the internet experience that much faster for the customer.
It comes with an 8GB internal memory that can be expanded an additional 32GB with a mirco SD card. However, are not the final specs, as this product is still in preproduction. The Verizon rep assured me that because of this preproduction label, a lot of things may change about this phone to make it better for the consumer.
So how do you guys feel about this new Droid?
