Surprise international pop sensation PSY is about to horse dance his way onto your consoles this Fall, as Ubisoft announced that they’ve licensed Gangnam Style and its infamous video for use in their latest Just Dance sequel.
Korean rapper PSY became an worldwide phenomenon earlier this year when the video for Gangnam Style went viral. I won’t bother linking to it here, since I’m pretty sure you’ve already seen the video itself a million times (the video has set YouTube records for the amount of views it’s gained,) in addition to the thousands of Gangnam Style mash-ups, remixes, parodies, parodies of parodies, covers, and reaction videos that have been uploaded in the last few months.
…Okay, well, I said I wouldn’t link to it, but how about just this one very good mash up instead:
Ubisoft says Just Dance 4 will incorporate some of the video’s infamous dance moves, in addition to mixing in some of the usual motions that previous games in the series have used.
Just Dance 4 was released for the PS3, Kinect equipped Xbox 360’s, and the Wii a week or two ago, and an additional Wii U version is due out alongside the launch of that system on November 18.
Now that Gangnam Style is on our consoles, can we please get that *other* Korean dance sensation on our systems as well?
